RummyWorks and the Lakewood Gardens Civic Association invite you to a very special Rummy Club Valentine’s Day Weekend event on Saturday, February 15th, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Lakewood Gardens Clubhouse!

Celebrate your love for rummy games and community with an afternoon of fun, laughter, and connection. This free-to-play event is open to everyone—all ages and skill levels. Whether you’re a seasoned player, a rummy rookie, or just looking for something new and engaging, you’re welcome at Rummy Club!

🎁 Valentine’s Day Prize Drawing!

We’re spreading the love with a special prize drawing during the event! When you arrive, make sure to grab your ticket from a RummyWorks team member—just let us know you’ve joined us for a game, and you’ll be entered. Tickets will be available until just before 4:30 PM, when the drawing takes place. Winners must be present to claim their prize.

💕 Here’s how to earn extra tickets:

💘 Arrive before 3:00 PM – Get a free extra ticket.

💖 Dress in your Valentine’s best (wear red, pink, hearts, cupid, or anything that screams Valentine’s Day!) – Get a free extra ticket.

💗 Bring your Valentine! Whether it’s a date, a significant other, or just a group of friends, you’ll get a free extra ticket, and each person you bring will get one too!

So, if you arrive early, dress for the occasion, and bring your Valentine (or a whole group!), you could get up to four free tickets for the drawing!

💘 Dress in Your Valentine’s Best!

Get into the Valentine’s spirit by wearing red, pink, hearts, cupid wings, or other festive Valentine’s attire. Whether it’s fun, cute, or totally over-the-top, we want to see it! Just a friendly reminder—let’s keep it family-friendly so everyone can enjoy the event comfortably. If dressing up isn’t your thing, no worries—just come as you are and enjoy the games!

🃏 Games, Community & More!

RummyWorks will bring all the games, including over 24 decks of cards with written instructions for classics like Gin Rummy, Rummy 500, Continental, and Classic Canasta. We’ll also have Mah Jongg sets and popular commercial games like Rummikub, Five Crowns, Phase 10, and Scorzo. Whether you’re rediscovering an old favorite or trying something new, there’s something for everyone!

At Rummy Club, you’ll find a warm, welcoming community eager to help new players feel at home. Most tables focus on fun instead of keeping score, and a RummyWorks team member will be available to suggest games, explain rules, or help you join a table if needed. If you fall in love with a game, ask a RummyWorks team member about purchasing your very own brand-new copy!

🍪 Snacks & Refreshments – Pay What You Can!

To make this event even more special, Lakewood Gardens Civic Association will provide light snacks and refreshments for attendees to enjoy. These will be available on a pay-what-you-can/want basis—it’s completely up to you whether or not you wish to contribute! However, keep in mind that every contribution helps us keep events like this free and open to as many people as possible.
